Pit Farm Tennis Club

SBA were instructed to explore all the possible ways to improve the current clubhouse to both better serve it’s 480 members and ensure that Guildford’s largest tennis club would continue to attract new members in the future. It was always of paramount importance for the committee to juggle members’ needs with budgetary constraints and to minimise the impact on their residential neighbours.
Extensions were made to the rear of the property and out towards court 1 to provide a more generous members lounge area and better flow within the club. The extension of the lounge area remained within the existing roof line was designed to blend harmoniously with the current club aesthetic. The viewing balcony was raised and designed to improve the viewing of the courts for spectators.
